Top 10 Sephora Christmas Wishlist

November 5, 2015

Here we are in November already- how crazy is that?

And with it, comes a new wishlist just in time for Christmas shopping. This year I am very much focused on things that I cannot get in the UK, both drugstore bargains as well as great high end investments.

Also I need to celebrate the fact that Sephora now ships to the UK! Obvsiouly everything comes at a price, with a minimum requirement of £75 and a delivery fee of £6, which I have to say is really not bad, considering how much you pay for the usual orders from the UK- usually around £3.95.

Anyhow, let’s get straight to it!

1.Kat Von D Shade + Light Eye Palette ($46 aka £30)

Lately I have become a massive fan of matte eye shadows, as I think it allows you a lot more control over the colour and you can create a more ‘proper’ look if that makes any sense, especially if you are a newbie in the whole eye make up techniques, such as myself. After spending countless hours on beauty blogs and youtube watching reviewies and looking at swatches, I was stuck between this one and Tarte’s new Tartelette (new for me at least- I think it came out mid 2015). They both are the same price, have 12 neutral eye shadows and they are both MATTE!!

However, the deal breaker for me were the tones. The Tartelette has a whole row full of mauvy/purply shades and a lot of their shadows are more cool toned, while Shade+Light has a perfect balance, with four warm shadows, four neutral and (you guessed right!) four cool tones, so it’s a lot more versatile in my eyes (no pun intended). Can’t wait to try this one out and post a full review!

2.Kat Von D Tattoo Liner ($19 aka £12.50)

Another Kat Von D product that I am after is her liquid eyeliner in the colour Trooper (Ink Black). Anyone who knows me will know that I am absolutely obsessed with finding the perfect black matte liquid liner. I know that a lot of people are praising this particular eyeliner, so I am absolutely dying to try it ouy! Currently bought Master Precise from Maybelline so will let you know how these two are again each other, or maybe I will write about the battle of the liquid eyeliner. So watch this space!

3. Kat Von D Lolita Lip Duo (£19.5 aka £12.7)

Yes, I know, I have a theme here. Another cult product from Kat Von D and probably one of the most reviewed lipsticks ever, apart from maybe Ruby Woo from Mac. We are all into the whole ‘my lips but better’ trend and the whole Kylie Jenner madness so if you can’t beat them, just join them.

This product offer 2 mini size matte liquid lipsticks, the original Lolita( so exciting as 95% of the time they are out of stock!) and the new version, which is a bit of a warmer shade, more terracota. Definitely can’t wait to try both!

4. Nars Blush and Bronzer duo– travel size ($24 aka £15.5)

If you stick around my blog, you will understand that I am massive fan of samples (ideally free ha) and travel size products. I love trying out products- especially the ones of the pricier side, before deciding to spend a small fortune on them. And of course, if I love them, I’ll go purchase the full size. Anyhow, I have, for a long time wanted to try both Orgasm (best blush ever they say) as well as Laguna (again a lot of hype around it). So what better way than this really well priced duo?

5. Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer– travel size ($21 aka £13.65)

This is the same kind of story as the Nars duo. The tinted moisturizer, which has been around for a while, is something that I would love to try, but I am not much of a light coverage girl, so I don’t want to commit before sampling. Also the price is quite good for a 30 ml version.

6. Nars Creamy Concealer – travel size ($12 aka £7.80)

As a girl with really heavy dark circles which unfortunately are hereditary and have a lot to do with my super thin skin (literally!), concealer is my must have product, something that I don’t like leaving the house without. Currently I swear by my Collection one combined with few other products, but I just HAD to try this one, which is meant to be a holy grail to a lot of people. Unfortunately in the travel size, they only have two colours but I think the darker one should be quite suitable. Again, I will update you once  I will get it :)

7. Boscia Perfectly Poreless Collection ($39 aka £25)

Besides all the amazing make up that I found on Sephora – and believe me, there is SO MUCH that I have not written about- there is the skincare! One of the brands that grabbed my attention was Boscia, with their black sleek packaging. Also I read some amazing reviews on the cleanser, which in the UK is £34 (!!)  so I think this exclusive limited edition set is incredible value. Plus you get a charcoal sponge which is supposed to make all the difference! #excited

8.Cinema Secrets Make up Brush Cleaner – 60ml version ($8 aka 5.20)

Again, a holy grail product for a lot of beauty blogger and youtubers Also, on makeupalley it has a score of 4.6 which has definitely convinced me! This spray is perfect for using in between uses for all your brushes and for a fiver, what more could you really wish for?

9. First Aid Beauty Lip Therapy ($12 aka £7.80)

The Starks are always right eventually-  winter IS coming! And with it, must come the heavy duty lip balms. As a massive lipstick obsessed person, I need to care for my lips a lot every day, and I am still looking for the perfect, super hydrating, nice smelling, thick lip balm that I could apply day or night, that will change my life forever. And I hope that this little one could be the miracle that I’ve been waiting for. To be continued…

10.Sephora Cream Lip Stain ($14 aka £9)

Last but definitely not least, the Sephora Liquid Lipsticks. They have 14 delicious colours to choose from, with most of them being matte, which seems to be the case with A LOT of lip products coming out lately- not that I am complaining, love the texture and finish! I am not a massive fan of pink and also it’s hard to realize from the swatches how they would look on mye (my lips are quite pink and pigmented naturally plus I have a weid in between skintone) so I think I will go for Always Red- 01, which is a classic red for a polished every day look.

So… This is it for my wishlist and I will make sure to make a haul once I get all these and any other little beauties.

Let me know what you guys are after from Sephora these days and if you have any recommendations!
